Small but mighty, turkey necks are full of rich flavor, collagen, connective tissue, and just the right amount of meat. They’re an excellent base for homemade stock, broth, soups, sauces, and stews.
How to Prepare
For even more flavor, roast or sear the turkey necks first. Then simmer them low and slow for 8–12 hours to create a rich broth that gels beautifully once cooled. Enjoy the broth on its own or use it in soups, sauces, and stews. The meat on the necks will also become tender and can be enjoyed after cooking.
