Easy Oven Round Roast

Have you ever wondered what to do with a round roast? Here is a simple recipe that is super tasty!

Ingredients
- (1) Round Roast
- (1 Tbsp) Olive Oil
- (1 Tbsp) Salt
- (2 tsp) Black Pepper
- (2) Garlic (fresh cloves minced)
Directions
- While your oven pre-heats to 450 degrees, remove your roast from it’s package and netting. Rub the oil all over the roast, sprinkle with the salt and pepper and pat on the garlic on all the sides.
- Place your seasoned roast into a roasting pan and into the oven for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes reduce the heat to 325 degrees for 45-60 minutes depending on how thick your roast is and how well done you want it.
- For medium rare cook until the internal temperature of the roast is 135 degrees.
- For medium cook until the internal temperature of the roast is 145 degrees.
- For medium well cook until the internal temperature of the roast is 155 degrees.
- (Mine picture in this recipe cooked until the internal temperature was 165 degrees. 🫤 A bit longer then I would have liked.)
- When your roast has cooked to your desired wellness remove from the oven and tent with foil for 10 minutes.
- Cut thinly against the meat grain and enjoy! (We really enjoyed dipping the meat into the roasting pans juice for extra rich flavor and nutrients 😋 )
