Maple Balsamic Glazed Roast

Ingredients
- (2-4 lb.) Roast (Chuck, Tri-Tip, Rib, etc.)
- (2 cups) Beef Bone Broth
- (3 ct.) Carrots (cut into chunks)
- (1 ct.) Onion (sliced)
- (2 ct.) Garlic Cloves (minced)
- (2 tbsp.) Olive Oil
- (1/4 cup) Maple Syrup
- (2 tbsp.) Balsamic Vinegar
- (1 tsp.) Dried Thyme
- (1 tsp.) Dried Sage
- (n/a) Salt
- (n/a) Pepper
Directions
STEP ONE: PREHEAT OVEN
-Preheat oven to 375°F
STEP TWO: PREPARE ROAST OF YOUR CHOICE
-Season your roast of choice generously with salt, pepper, and any family favorite seasonings.
-In a large oven-safe pot or Dutch oven, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
-Sear the roast on all sides until browned, then remove and set roast aside.
STEP THREE: SAUTÉ VEGGIES
-Sauté onions and carrots in the same pot for 3–4 minutes until lightly golden.
STEP FOUR: COMPLETE THE PICTURE
-Add beef broth, maple syrup, balsamic vinegar, garlic, thyme, and sage to the pot.
-Stir and mix.
-Add your roast back into this pot.
STEP FIVE: COOK
-Transfer to oven.
-Cook for 3–3½ hours, until meat is fork-tender.
STEP FIVE: SERVE
-Slice or shred the roast.
-Serve with the vegetables and sweet-savory glaze.
